It's back! Join the City of Alhambra and Republic Services in their biannual Alhambra Recycles Event on Saturday, October 8th from 8am-12pm at Granada Park!

Services being offered include:

• Plastic Bottle and Aluminum Cans Collection
  • NO CRV offered.
• Document Shredding
  • Conducted on-site.
  • Maximum of 5 banker boxes.
• Compost Giveaway
  • Must supply own container.
• Electronic Waste Disposal
  • Electronic waste includes computers, tablets, TVs, printers, and most devices with a plug.
• Paint Collection by PaintCare
  • The City of Alhambra is happy to announce paint collection through PaintCare at the parking lot for Granada Park Pool off of Whitney Drive!
  • Households may bring most types of paint, stain, and varnish in any amount. 
  • Paint must be in sealed, original container with original manufacturer label. 
  • PaintCare does not accept aerosols, solvents, and other hazardous waste.
    
  • Free used paint offered to residents as well.

Directions:

For plastic bottle and aluminum can collection, document shredding, compost giveaway, and electronic waste disposal, enter the driveway off of W. Hellman Avenue:

For paint collection, enter the driveway off of Whitney Drive:

The first 150 cars will receive a FREE Fosselman's Ice Cream Scoop Voucher. 

Sorry, only one voucher per car!

NO Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) will be collected.

NO Batteries will be collected.

NO Lightbulbs will be collected.
