What does it mean to be on an eligibility list?

Being on the eligibility list means that you have passed the qualifying selection process and are on a ranked list based on your score. The City of Alhambra follows the “Rule of Three Scores” per the Alhambra Municipal Code.    The top 3 eligibles are invited for a final selection process with the hiring department. 

When eligibles in rank drops from the selection process, either withdrawn or disqualified during the process, candidates next in rank will be notified of next steps to consistently provide the hiring manager the top 3 eligibles for possible selection.
