[ARCHIVED] Earthquake Brace + Bolt Program Grant

The State of California has an abundance of natural beauty that stretches along its coastlines to the top of its mountains and valleys. However, it is also known for its seismic activity and most Californians live within 30 miles of an active fault.

To keep our families safe, many California homeowners may be eligible for up to $3,000 in seismic retrofit grants through Earthquake Brace + Bolt (EBB), a program jointly administered by the California Earthquake Authority (CEA) and the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services.

Eligible homeowners can apply online for grants during the registration period, October 27 through December 1, 2021. The amounts of the grants vary depending on the region and type of retrofit completed, and are contingent upon meeting eligibility requirements.

Please visit EBB's web page for more information about the program and to find out if you qualify.
