[ARCHIVED] Valley Blvd Pedestrian Improvement Project

The City of Alhambra has retained California Professional Engineering in order to improve mobility to help promote pedestrian safety by installing crosswalk beacons, upgrades to pedestrian lighting, upgrades to signage/striping and sidewalk clearance & ADA upgrades. In order to safely construct these new improvements, traffic control will be implemented when and where needed, which may include temporary lane closures and restricted parking.

Work Details:

August 27, 2021 to December 31, 2021


Valley Blvd between Atlantic Avenue and Garfield Avenue

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7AM to 4PM

Work hours in traffic lanes will be 9AM to 3:30PM.

What to Expect:

    Access for pedestrians will be maintained outside of the construction zone.

    Access to local residents will be maintained during construction.

    Access to parking lots for local businesses will be maintained.
