[ARCHIVED] Alhambra Fire Department and Alhambra Police Department to Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

The Alhambra Fire Department and Alhambra Police Department will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 9 AM at Fire Station 71 (301 N. 1st Street) to pay tribute to those who lost their lives during the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

“This ceremony will bring together first responders, community members and local officials to honor the sacrifices made by firefighters, law enforcement personnel and civilians on that fateful day,” said Alhambra Fire Chief Jeff Ragusa. “We welcome the community to come pay their respects and gather with us as we remember those we have lost.”

The ceremony will feature posting of colors by the Alhambra Police Department Honor Guard, Invocation, Tolling of the Bell, and bagpipe music. All are welcome to attend and registration is not required.
