The water shutoff moratorium has ended. Over the past two years the City of Alhambra has not charged late fees or shutoff water for non-payment. If you have a past due balance, you will need to pay your bill in order to avoid late fees or having your water service discontinued.
We understand the hardships our customers have faced during the COVID-19 emergency. Our goal is to work with you during this difficult time. The last thing we want to do is discontinue your water service. You can make arrangements with our office to set up a payment plan to pay outstanding balances.
The City of Alhambra’s Policy on Discontinuation of Residential Water Service for Non-Payment is available in the following languages: English (PDF), Traditional Chinese (PDF), Spanish (PDF), Vietnamese (PDF), Tagalog (PDF), and Korean (PDF).
Low-income households in Alhambra can now apply to receive financial assistance for delinquent residential water bills. The Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) offers a one-time payment of up to $2,000 to help pay residential water or wastewater utility bills. Learn more here.
