[ARCHIVED] LADPH Modifies Health Officer Order To No Longer Require Indoor Masking

The LA County Department of Public Health has modified its Health Officer Order.

Effective March 4, 2022, indoor masking at most public settings will be strongly recommended, but not required, for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Masks are required in schools & childcare facilities until March 12, 2022, when they become strongly recommended.

Masks are still required in certain areas, strongly recommended indoors, & required for those in isolation/quarantine & who exit early through the day 10 period. People can still wear masks in indoor/outdoor settings if they choose to.

For more information, view the Health Officer Order here.
