[ARCHIVED] Water Main Replacement and Street Rehabilitation Project

Construction Notice

City of Alhambra – Water Main Replacement and Street Rehabilitation

For Pyrenees Dr. and Terrace Ave

Project No. N2M21-67

The City of Alhambra recently awarded the above referenced contract to Gentry Brothers. Inc. We will be constructing new water lines, water services, fire hydrant retrofit, concrete repairs, and street resurfacing on Pyrenees Drive and Terrace Ave. This work is tentatively scheduled to commence on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 with an anticipated completion date of Friday, July 01, 2022. Working hours will be restricted from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As can be expected with any water improvement project, there may be some noise, dust and inconvenience. However, we will make every effort to keep this to a minimum. Also, to complete the installation of the water main and tiein to the existing mainline, your water will be shut off for a brief time but no longer than eight (8) hours at any one time. We will provide a notice to you 48 hours in advance.

Parking will be restricted in the construction area. We will post “No Parking” signs at least 72 hours in advance prior to commencing work in the affected areas. Access to your driveway will be maintained.

We truly appreciate your understanding and patience so that we can complete this work as quickly as possible. We thank you for your cooperation. If you should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Thomas Amare City of Alhambra Utilities Department at 626-300-1562 or Joe Palomera from Gentry Brothers at 626-357-9631 ext. 122.

Thank You!
