Proposed Water Rate Increase
The City of Alhambra is currently considering an increase to its water rates.
Proposition 218 requires the City to conduct a noticed public hearing with respect to the proposed water rate increase.
The City of Alhambra charges rates to its water customers to fund the cost of providing safe and reliable water service.
The last water rate increase was implemented in 2013. The City of Alhambra is proposing to phase in a series of water rate increases over the next five years.
