Joslyn Adult Center - Where Seniors have Fun! Joslyn Adult Center, 210 North Chapel Avenue, is where everything "senior" happens in Alhambra--hot lunches every weekday, seminars to enhance your health and pocketbook, clubs, dance groups, classes, senior outings, and much more. If you're not visiting Joslyn  regularly (like every day!), you're definitely missing out on some of the fun.

• Wednesday, April 30 - Senior Outing to Ojai in Ventura County - 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Rich in physical beauty and cultural history, you can enjoy Ojai at the Ojai Valley Museum ($3 requested donation), on an Ojai Trolley Ride (25 cents for seniors over age 65), or just browsing the many quaint shops, and dining (on your own) at one of the local eateries.

• Monday, May 5 - Cinco de Mayo Luncheon Celebration - 10:30 a.m. Join your amigos and amigas for Mexican food, music and entertainment. Wear a sombrero, or traditional Mexican attire, and you could win a prize. • Thursday, June 26 - Newport Beach and Balboa Island Senior Outing - 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Shop in quaint shops, lunch (on your own) at one of the local eateries, and lots of free time to slather on the sun screen and don the sun hat and sun glasses as you roam through this attractive beach community.
