Summer/Fall 2008 Leisure Activities Guide

The fall session of Leisure Classes for children and adults begins on September 22, 2008, so now is a great time to register and insure your participation in the classes of your choice. New classes include: Preschool music class, critique session for young writers, children's singing workshop, children's beginning piano, children's beginning drum workshop, baby ballet & tap, children's lyrical jazz dance, beginning writing for fiction and non-fiction writers, critique session for adult writers, adult workout wellness class, adult aerobics/weight training/Pilates, and adult introduction to "fire poi" dance.

TO REGISTER:

  • Fill out the form on the back of the Alhambra Leisure Activities Guide, then:
    • Phone (626) 570-3242 or fax
      (626) 284-0310 your information with Visa or MasterCard in hand, (or)
    • Bring your form and payment to the Alhambra Park Office
      500 N. Palm Ave., Alhambra
      Weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., (or)
    • Mail your form & payment (no cash) to: City of Alhambra, Leisure Classes
      111 S. First St., Alhambra, CA 91801, (or) 
    • Drop off your form and payment in the night deposit slot at the First Street entrance to City Hall, 111 S. First St. Questions? Call (626) 570-3242

PS: Contract Instructors are needed to work with children who would like to
participate in the City's summer recreational programs. If you are looking
for some extra income this summer, and enjoy working with children,
