THE ALHAMBRA SUMMER JUBILEE

Don't Miss It! July 19-August 23, 2008

The 2008 TENTH ANNUAL ALHAMBRA SUMMER JUBILEE will offer exciting musical
entertainment featuring well-known bands,
along with scores of food vendors, games,
arts & crafts, and much more. The event 
will run every Saturday evening from
July 19 through August 23, 2008, from
6-10 p.m., on South Second Street, between
Main Street and Commonwealth Avenue.
Admission and parking are FREE!

THE TASTE OF ALHAMBRA

The Taste of Alhambra, generally held the first Sunday in June, provides a great opportunity to enjoy the unlimited flavors of Alhambra’s diverse restaurants, great wines, brews, 
and spirits, in a fun outdoor environment!
Also enjoy the cigar (not complimentary) 
and martini bar and dance to the sounds of live music.

CITY OF ALHAMBRA CERTIFIED FARMER'S MARKET

Don't Miss It! Every Sunday (except Easter)

Do you savor fruits and vegetables that
are tasty and full of vitamins and minerals
for good health? Then, you'll want to make
a trip to Alhambra's Farmer's Market,
held every Sunday rain or shine
(except Easter)
from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
on Monterey Street––one block east of
Garfield and one block south of Main St.
There are over 600 varieties of fresh fruits

CITY OF ALHAMBRA FLEA MARKET

Don't Miss It! Sunday June 22, 2008
and October 19, 2008

Alhambra's Flea Market is held twice 
each year
from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in
the Joslyn Center parking lot, 210 North
Chapel Avenue. Sellers may bring used or hand-crafted items. Selling spaces are available to all residents on a first-come,
first-served basis. Applications can be
picked up at the Alhambra Park Office,
500 North Palm Avenue. Admission to the
Flea Market for shoppers, is FREE!

SAN GABRIEL VALLEY LUNAR NEW YEAR PARADE & FESTIVAL

This free annual event, which coincides with
the Chinese Lunar New Year, is presented by the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce and hosted by the cities of Alhambra and San Gabriel. The world-renown annual street festival attracts more than 50,000 people and is broadcast live on KWRM 1370 AM Chinese radio and ETTV cable television. The event features a dragon, lion dance and acrobatic martial arts, parade, booths, Volvo Auto Square, carnival, children's drawing and coloring contests, ancestor worship ceremony and much more.
