The Main Street Corridor is anchored by the Alhambra Renaissance Plaza. It features an Edwards Theater, dining and retail establishments, plus wispy "dancing" fountains and colorful mosaic artwork to complement the Plaza's architecture.

Main Street Corridor

Includes:
(1) Dining
(2) Entertainment
(3) Retail (big box and small retailers)
(4) Mixed-use facilities/retail plazas
(5) Auto row district
(6) New planned business/financial district

The intersection of Main & Garfield has been a center
of commerce since 1895. By the 1950s, it had taken
on the upscale look of Wilshire Boulevard's Miracle
Mile and was the "in" place to go in the San Gabriel
Valley. While many of the classic older buildings
have been replaced, the successful revitalization
of Main Street and renaissance of the downtown
has led to several awards presented by the
California Redevelopment Association.

(1) Dining opportunities abound. Choose from American, Chinese, Cuban, Japanese, Mexican, Thai, Malaysian, Italian, and more. Or, set a date and meet a friend at one of several coffee, tea and juice bars offering indoor/outdoor dining options.
